If you’re against hunting (meaning that you are a rational, sane human being), then I encourage you to put your name into any state draws to be selected for hunting permits. Several US States only offer limited permits per year, and they’re selected by random draw. If non-hunters put their names in the pot for these draws and win – the result would be no hunting.
And on a side note, according to the Center of Biological Diversity, hunters leave 3,000 tons of lead bullets in America’s forests every year. Shooting ranges generate another 80,000 tons of spent ammo, which, in turn, poisons 20 million birds annually.
