If you were a parent of one of the freshmen who were murdered at Virginia Tech on Monday, wouldn’t you feel incredibly lucky? Think about it. Now that their son or daughter is dead, over the next three years they’re going to save about $90,000 in books, board, and tuition. In fact, I bet the parents of the slain seniors are probably really jealous of the parents of the slain freshmen.
If I were to ever accidentally become a parent, I would hope that the kid would be killed off at a really young age. The sooner, the better.
Kids are really expensive.
